Antex Pest Control Co. LLC
A real area of concern for ants and mice, the foundation (where it meets the house)
often provides easy access.  Ants were streaming out of this area and entering the
sill and sill plate.  An outside application around the perimeter with Termidor™
should control the carpenter ant situation.  Corners around the house should be
stuffed with copper mesh for the exclusion of mice coming from the outside as shown
here.
Homeowners sometimes put down mulch around there homes unaware that it provides
food and living spaces for termites and other wood destroying insects.  Here the
lattice skirting under the porch is less than 6" from grade and vulnerable to termite
and carpenter ant attack.
Wasps and bees nests always seem to show up in the most unwanted places, in this
example on the rear deck light.  Wasps and bees are dangerous to people that are
highly allergic and small children that get unknowingly too close to the nest.  Antex
Pest Control provides services to prevent this type of issue from ever happening.
A classic example of a leaking bathroom tub above the kitchen, this condition has
caused carpenter ants living in the kitchen ceiling below the bathroom.  The method
of treatment is drilling a small hole in the area of the moisture then applying an
aerosol into the void by the use of a micro-injection system.  Treating the area of
concern by this method will solve the problem instead of curing the symptom.
Carpenter ants are often associated with moisture and a leaky tub provides the
perfect atmosphere for them to survive without being seen by the home owner.
The kitchen contains both food and moisture and is often the favorite place of
crawling insects and rodents.  Here Dan is drilling a hole under the sink to provide
control of ants and roaches.  Baiting methods are often used when treatment areas
are not prepared properly.  Baiting is an excellent method of treating ants and
roaches in areas that are highly sensitive such as hospitals, schools and nursing
homes.
